JAKE AND THE “BARKTONES”
AKA JAKE AND THE BURTONES
Jake and the Burtones is more of a concept than a band. With an ever-changing core of members the Burtones provide a healthy mix of Old time Appalachian Music and bluegrass, mixing soulful originals with the occasional Grateful Dead cover. Although you may see the Burtones with different members each time you see them, it is ALWAYS guaranteed to be the same great music. They often absorb members from The Plank Stompers, Mink, Space Canoe and a number of other talented local bands.LISTEN FACEBOOK | REVERBNATION
